WHL Player of the Week - Wacey Rabbit

Calgary - The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Wacey Rabbit of the Saskatoon Blades. Rabbit earned player of the week honours by recording three goals and eight points including a power-play goal during the week of October 11th to October 18th. Rabbit helped lead the Blades to a 3-1 record for the week and top spot in the WHL East Division. Rabbit is also tied for 1st in WHL scoring.
On Monday, October 11th, Rabbit recorded a goal and an assist in a 6-2 win against the Broncos in Swift Current. On Tuesday, October 12th, he added another goal and an assist in a 5-4 win over the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings.

On Friday, October 15th, Rabbit recorded three assists in a 6-4 win against the Wheat Kings in Brandon. On Saturday, October 16th, Rabbit scored a power-play goal in a 4-2 loss to the Pats in Regina.
Rabbit, from Calgary, Alberta, is eligible for the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
