WHL Player of the Week

Calgary - The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is rookie forward Alex Leavitt of the Swift Current Broncos. Leavitt earned player of the week honours by recording six goals and 11 points in four games during the week of November 17th to November 23rd. Leavitt helped lead the Broncos to a perfect 4-0 record for the week.
On Tuesday, November 18th, Leavitt recorded two goals and two assists in a 7-6 overtime win over the visiting Seattle Thunderbirds. On Friday, November 21st, Leavitt scored two goals in a 5-1 victory against the visiting Portland Winter Hawks.

On Saturday, November 22nd, Leavitt recorded a goal in a 3-2 overtime win against the Raiders in Prince Albert. On Sunday, November 23rd, Leavitt scored a goal and added three assists in a 6-3 victory against the Blades in Saskatoon.
Leavitt, a 19-year-old from Edmonton, Alberta, is eligible for the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and is the first two-time winner of the weekly award this season.
Honorable mention goes to teammate Jeremy Williams, and Mike Brodeur of the Moose Jaw Warriors.
