Produced 38 points (18-20-38) in 33 games for Rodovre (DAN) .. has good vision and was generally able to find and deliver the pass to the open man .. turns on a dime with or without the puck .. displayed some chemistry with Brandon Dubinsky when they played together .. is a smooth skater and fights through first contact well .. takes the body effectively, although is far from being a punishing hitter .. very mobile stickhandler in traffic .. wore #17.
Libor Gazdik (2007), C
Racked up 45 points (20-25-45) in 43 games for San Jose Jr. Sharks Midget .. has a heavy wrist shot .. takes the pass easily at top speed .. boasts the ability to freeze a goalie in close and the poise to go right around him .. will take a hit to make a play .. wore #18.
Brandon Dubinsky (NYR), C
Had 59 points (23-36-59) in 68 games last campaign for the Winter Hawks ..
Has sweet hands in close and can really make a defender look stupid if they play the puck instead of the man .. takes the pass effortlessly at top speed .. has elite vision and playmaking skills .. terrific mobility and stickhandling skills in traffic, however lacks the extra gear that would make him a top scorer at the next level .. displays terrific vision and the ability to dish out a perfect backhand pass .. wore #19.
Jon Bubnick (FA), RW
Scored 21 times and added 16 helpers in 51 games for the Regina Pats last year .. has a heavy slap shot that really explodes off of his stick .. can pick the corners .. wore #21.
Thomas Frazee (2008), C
Drafted by Portland with the 11th overall pick in the 2005 WHL Draft and got invited to training camp .. uses an active stick on the penalty-kill to help close passing lanes .. not surprising given his youth, but he needs to work on his skating and build up power out of the blocks .. didn't show much touch on the shootout .. won't be up with Portland as a regular until next season at the earliest .. wore #17.
