WHL: Moller Has Bite

Ryan Howse (2009), LW, Chilliwack
Selected third overall by the Bruins in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft .. boasts some jump out of the gates and his skating is already very fluid .. youngster is expected to be a difference maker as early as next season for Chilliwack, however he's still learning where to go in his own zone and shows that there is still some maturing to take place before the Bruins can count on him as a game breaker. Oscar Moller (2007), RW, Chilliwack
Centered the line of Mark Santorelli and Josh Aspenlind .. although not blessed with explosive jets, he has enough speed when combined with his excellent ability to read the play he can usually get to where he needs to be before the other guy .. seems to struggle to get back in the play .. continues to be dangerous at the point on the powerplay with his ability to fire the puck on net .. saw a ton of powerplay time .. showcases tremendous poise with the puck in the scoring areas .. definitely plays with more passion in the offensive zone than anywhere else on the ice .. held without a goal (5gp, 0-3-3) in the playoff series versus the Vancouver Giants. Mark Santorelli (2007), C, Chilliwack
Was the leading scorer and a major part of the Bruins' top line of Oscar Moller and Josh Aspenlind .. is quick on the transition from defense to offense after a turnover .. displayed terrific vision and was an important part of the team's solid powerplay .. not very physical, but tries .. lacks elite jump out of the gates .. it is possible that team will take a late round flyer on him this season. Matt Esposito (2007), G, Chilliwack
Pint-sized at 5'8"- 170lbs. comes across the crease extremely quickly and does a nice job taking away the bottom part of the net .. lightening fast glove, however sometimes he can get a bit too cocky thinking it will always be there to bail him out .. needs to stay on his feet more.. can make the highlight reel save one time and let in a floater the next .. at his size he would have to be more consistent to be a legitimate pro prospect .. a major reason why the Bruins even made the playoffs, unfortunately he was injured and was not able to play.
