Boasts good recovery speed .. bit slow turning, but showed good first step burst to win puck battle .. tall, thin all legs and arms .. could be meaner and quicker with his stick .. doesn't maintain staying square to the puck .. uses his long reach to envelope puckcarriers .. able to pivot and turn his body and use long reach without compromising his balance .. kills penalties .. still prone to the odd bad decision in his own zone .. needs to refine body positioning as a defender .. could attack more in certain situations .. play reading needs some work .. let a cherry-picker slip in behind him .. looks comfortable finding safe breakout path, showed nice stickhandling ability and vision to find the open seem .. gets goal side on his checks .. safe puck mover .. looked very comfortable backing up and defending against skilled forwards .. uses long stick to deflect shots in to the netting .. looks to have lots of upside.
