WHL: Fine Art Bidlevskii

Justin Maylan (2009), C, Prince George
Slightly built pivot is listed at 6-foot-1, 160-pounds .. picks up his man in the Cougars' zone, but is a tad slow to react to the play developing in .. sometimes has trouble powering through heavy traffic which isn't that surprising given his frame .. light on his skates .. will get some powerplay time, but generally when it isn't that important .. boasts vision with the puck and has some playmaking ability, however he needs to deliver his passes a bit crisper so that his plays aren't as easily broken up .. supports the puckcarrier well and knows where to go for a scoring chance .. should strengthen his skating stride as it lacks power .. developing his ability to pressure the puckcarrier in to turnovers on the forecheck .. has a nose for loose pucks .. played on a line with Corey Tyrell and Nick Buonassisi. (4gp, 1-1-2)

Corey Tyrell (2009), C, Prince George
Pivot sports a smallish frame as he's generously listed at 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds .. does a decent job closing the gaps thanks to better than average mobility .. takes the body, but like his linemate, Justin Maylan, is not very effective in heavy traffic .. his last name might get the scouts to take a first look, but he might not have the upside to get him a second look .. saw some time on the penalty kill .. played the left side on a line Nick Buonassisi and centered by Justin Maylan. (3gp, 0-0-0)
Art Bidlevskii (2009), D, Prince George
Solidly built, 6-foot-0, 200 pound two-way defender .. must improve his burst out of the gates .. tends to turn the puck over, especially early in the game .. should concentrate on making the safe, high percentage play instead of lazily throwing the puck in to coverage .. will pinch in when the opportunity exists .. seems to compete better in the dirty areas later in the game and will take a hit to make a play .. not hesitant to take the body and even deliver a hip check .. some have questioned his work ethic or at least his conditioning and there is no doubt he needs to add some power and strength .. does a decent job closing down passing an shooting lanes, but has a hard time keeping the player driving the net from getting to where they're trying to get to .. must bare down with the puck and cut down his unforced turnovers and learn sometimes it is fine to use the boards to clear the zone .. shows some signs of being able to stand an opponent up at the blueline, but isn't consistent enough .. has an ability to throw them and handles himself fairly well .. partnered with Cody Hobbs. (4gp, 0-2-2)
Marek Viedensky (2009), C, Prince George
Slovak import is in his second year of eligibility for the NHL Entry Draft .. listed at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds .. takes the pass well .. looks a bit awkward at times on his feet as he lumbers down the ice .. comes back on defence .. will go to the dirty areas without the puck .. uses his teammates reasonably well, but doesn't possess elite offensive ability in any important category .. on occasion he flashes some skill, but for the most part if it wasn't for his size and birth certificate it is doubtful he'd get much notice .. centered a line of Cody Rainaldi and Colby Kulhanek. (4gp, 1-0-1)
