WHL: Beach Boy

Kyle Beach (2008), LW, Everett
Played on one of the top lines alongside Jordan Mistelbacher and Vitaly Karamnov .. boasts a heavy wrist shot .. a very good skater for his size, but doesn't possess elite top end breakaway speed .. a fixture on the powerplay .. knows how to protect himself and is able to trade punches with most in junior hockey .. not hesitant to sacrifice his body and drop down in front of a point shot, especially when killing penalties .. can be his own worst enemy at times and must be more aware of where the line is and not step over it (which is likely one of the reasons he wasn't even invited to the WJC selection camp) .. needs to do a better job in his own zone with regards to maintaining position on his man .. at his best when playing with an edge while maintaining control. (32gp, 21-21-42)

Vitaly Karamnov (2008), C, Everett
Native of Moscow, Russia centered the top line of Jordan Mistelbacher and Kyle Beach .. boasts some zip to his wrist shot .. extremely mobile with or without the puck .. sports imagination with his passes .. went undrafted last season which might be the result of external issues between Russia and the NHL .. moves the puck well and receives it cleanly .. would like to see even more determination to get or maintain possession of the puck .. will come back and pick up his man, but lacks much physicality to his game .. plays on the powerplay. (28gp, 5-5-10)
Tyler Skauge (2008), C, Everett
Played on the line of Eric English and centered by Jesse Burt .. showed defensive awareness by giving up his stick to the defenseman that broke his .. doesn't play with much fire when his team is down .. boasts nice size at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, yet rarely uses it to his benefit .. not likely to hear his name on draft day. (22gp, 0-1-1)
Jordan Mistelbacher (2008), RW, Everett
Played on a line with Vitaly Karamnov and Kyle Beach .. has nice size 6-foot-2, 195-pounds and uses it to cut down space .. sees time on the powerplay .. not all that mobile or quick out of the blocks .. hits with authority and can separate the opponent from the puck with a solid hit. (30gp, 3-4-7)
