WHL: Alexander The Pretty Good

Ryan Howse (2009), LW, Chilliwack
Is currently out with "concussion like symptoms" .. it is true that he doesn't possess breakaway speed, however he anticipates the play well and has a knack for getting open in the scoring areas .. fairly mobile and finishes his checks .. showcases a dangerously accurate shot and not hesitant to try and sneak it past a goalie from almost anywhere .. is definitely a shooter first and playmaker second .. plays with a bit of an edge and will stand up for himself or a teammate .. lacks an elite top gear that would push his stock in to the early first round, however he projects to be a top nine forward in the NHL .. a regular on the powerplay .. generally is not a player that is going to take the puck end-to-end, yet he can be deadly from the blueline in, especially after a turnover. Kevin Sundher (2010), C, Chilliwack
Already a threat with the puck and on occasion flashes world class moves .. boasts elite top end speed and uses it to back off defenders .. a truly effortless skater that sometimes tries to beat too many checkers by himself .. needs to get stronger which will help him in heavier traffic areas .. tries to create turnovers by making a hit, but with a frame listed at 5-foot-11, 180-pounds it isn't all that surprising that he isn't overly effective when the game gets physical .. has played with a bunch of different linemates this season, however is the type of player that will have the most success on one of the scoring lines .. still learning how to play in his own zone and without the puck, yet given his youth and hockey smarts that should come with experience .. gets a regular shift on the powerplay. Alexander Wiklund (2009), LW, Chilliwack
The beneficiary of Ryan Howse missing time due to concussion like symptoms as he got moved up the depth chart .. played on a line with David Robinson and the recently acquired Evan Fuller .. not outstanding offensively or defensively, but solid in every zone .. takes the pass smoothly at full speed .. does a pretty decent job of sticking with his check .. sees the ice effectively and such is able to use his teammates well .. puts pressure on the pointman, especially while killing penalties .. receives regular ice time on the powerplay .. still adjusting to North American hockey so there are some growing pains, however is already proving to be a good addition to the team and is definitely a candidate for the draft.
