Racked up 40 points (22-18-40) in 31 games for Bloomington Jefferson High School .. agile skater .. needs to show more commitment picking up the opposing center off of the draw .. was guilty of being a bit lackadaisical on the backcheck .. displayed nice top speed as well as a good conditioning level as he didn't tire out in the later stages of a game .. doesn't look, or at least play as big as his 5'10"-200lbs. listing .. wore #17 .. USA Select 17 totals (6, 0-1-1-4).
Scott Byrum (2006), F
Chipped in with 45 points (20-25-45) in 60 games for LA Jr. Kings last season .. must be much more proactive when he doesn't have the puck as he can be guilty of being a spectator at times during the game .. no part of his game really stood out and he has a lot of work to do before he can be considered a prospect for the coming NHL Entry Draft .. wore #18 .. USA Select 17 totals (6, 0-1-1-0).
Mario Lamoureux (2006), F
Produced 22 points (7-15-22) in 59 games for Tri-City Storm last campaign .. has some snap behind his wrist shot .. needs to work on his conditioning as he wasn't able to maintain the pace later in the shift .. can be a sluggish skater at times .. must improve his strength, especially his ability to stay on the puck .. wore #19 .. USA Select 17 totals (6, 2-4-6-4).
Sean Dolan (2006), F
Had three goals and two assists in 29 games for the Indiana Ice last year .. at 6'3" he is a monster, but he's very slender at just over 175lbs. so he isn't as strong on his skates as he will need to be .. displays nice defensive awareness as he regularly covered for pinching defenders .. puts the pass crisply on the stick .. shows surprisingly good footwork for his size .. handles the puck and sees the ice well if given time, although he'll need to improve his touch around the net .. wore #20 .. USA Select 17 totals (6, 2-1-3-6).
