Swe: Pettersson Performs

Frolunda is a veritable Swedish powerhouse in junior hockey, sweeping through the post-season without so much as a single loss en route to its fourth championship title in five years. Fredrik Pettersson got hot at just the right time and both Dallas prospect Loui Eriksson and Edmonton's Kalle Olsson were also part of the success; the latter two are now three-time champs after helping to dispatch Lulea in the finals.
Loui Eriksson (Dal), RW

Wasn't the same type of dominating force like Carl Soderberg at this level but the sheer depth of this team didn't necessitate that kind of player .. a quick skater who is explosive and can turn on a dime .. showcased some impressive stick-handling moves .. a lethal force around the net who buries the puck every chance he gets .. good playmaking who can set up plays using his solid on-ice vision .. good work ethic .. constantly delivered strong backchecking.. physical game still needs work, but is less exposed in the SEL.
Kalle Olsson (Edm), C/RW
Centered Eriksson well here, despite it being a somewhat unusual position .. his experience at this level shone through and he certainly emerged as a leader .. intensity level was high, along with an excellent work ethic .. strong skater with a fluid stride.. uses his body fairly efficiently physically .. good team player and strong on the penalty kill .. reads the game well .. ultimately would likely not be more than a player with a grinding role in the NHL.
Fredrik Pettersson (2005), RW
Picked up his offensive game at the end of the regular season and carried that through the playoffs .. seemed to develop poise, allowing him to convert a higher percentage of his scoring chances .. his trademark high energy style was still there .. has an extremely quick first stride .. totally fearless .. throws himself into every situation, despite his small frame .. tremendous work-ethic .. good hockey sense with solid playmaking skills as well .. the complete package, except for his size.
Richard Demen-Willaume (Col), D
Steady defenseman barely made any mistakes all season .. fairly mobile for his size with decent lateral movement .. crisp passing game and delivers good outlet passes every time .. should shoot the puck more and start joining the offensive rush more frequently .. has the tools to put up much higher point totals than he does .. obviously a force physically in is own end with his impressive frame, but he could be even more aggressive .. all-in-all, a good player who could do more with his set of tools.
Sebastian Karlsson (2005), C
Came back from injury just in time for the playoffs and was good, but not great .. the definition of a fluid skater; he seems to float across the ice .. effective passer with soft hands and is excellent at delivering saucer passes to his teammates .. usually handles the puck well and has a decent arsenal of dekes, but he should try to drive to the net more frequently and be even more intense in his approach .. average at best in the physical department .. overall has a strong work ethic and demonstrates leadership abilities, allowing him to be used in every situation on the ice.
