graduating U.S. collegians this past
week in Jim
Fahey, Niko
Dimitrakos and Willie
Levesque.
Jim
Fahey
Northeastern captain was a force in his senior year, leading the Huskies in
scoring while earning first-team All-American honours and a Hobey Baker
nomination .. A skilled, puckmoving rearguard with tremendous smarts and
determination, Fahey is a strong, smooth skater with excellent agility,
however, he does tend to lose focus at times and must continue to upgrade
his physical play and overall tempo .. Has top-four potential and could
surprise at camp.
Niko
Dimitrakos
Talented `99 fifth-rounder reported to camp in much better shape last fall
and enjoyed a career senior year, leading the Black Bears in scoring and to
the NCAA championship game (was also named a second-team All-American) ..
Dimitrakos is a highly-skilled puckhandler with good speed and a nice
release, and has continued to improve his team play and upgrade his work
ethic away from the puck .. Has matured a great deal since winning a
national title as a freshman, although he can still be inconsistent.
