Robbie Schremp Moved To London

Mississauga, ON – October 8, 2003 – The Mississauga IceDogs today announced that second year forward Robbie Schremp has been traded to the London Knights. In exchange for Schremp, the IceDogs will receive the services of Kyle Quincey and Chris Bain, as well as London’s second round pick in 2004 and 2006.
Kyle Quincey, 18, was the Detroit Red Wings fourth round pick in this year’s NHL Entry Draft. The native of Kleinburg, ON, recorded 18 points (6-12) and 77 penalty minutes in 66 games played as a rookie last season with the Knights. The 6’2, 206lbs defenseman, has recorded two assists in his first three games with London this season.

Chris Bain, 18, has played the last two season’s with the London Knights, recording five points (4-1) and 356 penalty minutes in 120 games played. Bain, a 6’0, 215lbs left winger, is a native of Sudbury, ON and a productive of the Rayside Balfour team that won the 2001 Northern Ontario Jr.A League.
Both players will be in the lineup this Friday night when the IceDogs host the Brampton Battalion at 7:30pm at the Hershey Centre.
