Has the potential to be an impact player who can generate plenty of excitement on the ice .. a slick puck handler with deceptive quickness, though his acceleration could be better .. it still takes him too many strides to get into flight, although there is a sense that he doesn't really get into full throttle .. puts on a show with the puck night-in-and-night-out; when an opposing defenseman is caught playing the puck instead of playing the man Zagrapan puts on a clinic and finishes plays to boot .. cool, instinctive, deceptively quick enough to join in on the rush, always aware of how the play is about to unravel .. accurate passing skills, threading brilliant feeds in traffic .. could still shoot more .. ok defensively but needs to learn to take away passing lanes a little better.
Alexandre Vincent (2005), G, Chicoutimi
His game has been really coming along after some not-so-hot stretches at mid-season but the pieces are coming together gradually .. a big mobile goalie has solidified his positional game .. very quick in the crease with good balance and strong lateral movement .. surprising agility for a big man, covering up corners very well .. excellent reflexes and reads the play impressively, allowing him to maintain a strong-balanced stance when facing a shot .. plays a stand-up style and does not go down early .. has become quite polished at controlling the rebounds, kicking pucks out to the side effectively .. most impressive attribute is his calm demanour, whereby he does not seem to let the occasional bad goal bother him .. thrives on a big work load .. penchant for big-time clutch saves .. lots of upside.
Mathieu Labrie (2005), D, Acadie-Bathurst
High IQ; acceptable range .. shows nice poise and confidence in his zone .. a decent backwards skater, is strong on his feet .. very sound positional instincts .. effective at taking his man out of the play and taking away passing lanes with a quick stick .. good vision and playmaking ability .. crisp outlet passing skills and ability to skate the puck out of his zone .. efficient when taking the puck out of the zone, though still learning to take charge .. excellent shot from the point; superb accuracy, above average release and sharpness.
Mathieu Roy (2005), LW, Acadie-Bathurst
Has game-breaking abilities at times limited by somewhat one-dimensional habits .. can win games by himself at times .. quick skater penetrates down the wing with excellent balance and agility .. very strong and determined for his size .. a fine stickhandler who is not afraid to take the puck into traffic zones .. a good playmaker although he could still share the puck more but the lack of talented linemates on the Titan explains his frequent dominance of the puck .. draws guys to him, allowing teammates to have more room on the ice to work with .. has a keen sense of getting into prime offensive positions and maintains a consistent effort from shift-to-shift .. must develop better patience defensively, as he often gets too determined to cause a turnover, often getting himself out of position and his team into major trouble.
