BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, September 28, 2015 - Jérémy Roy, Conor Garland and Francis Perron were named today the three stars of the week for September 21 to 27, 2015.
The first star of the week is awarded to the Sherbrooke Phoenix defenseman, Jeremy Roy. In two games, he recorded 2 goals added 4 assists and maintained a +5 rating. In his first game of the regular season, he scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-2 win over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. Sunday, in Gatineau against the Olympiques, he tied his personnel best with 4 points in a single game scoring 1 goal and adding 3 assists. The Phoenix went on to win the game 9-6 for their second consecutive victory.

Moncton Wildcats right-winger, Conor Garland, is the second star of the week. During the 2 road games he played this week, last year's leading scorer made 1 goal, added 5 assists and maintained a +5 rating. He started his week in Halifax with 2 assists in a 4-1 win over the Mooseheads. Against the Charlottetown Islanders on Sunday, he was named the first star in a 6-3 win. In that game, he scored 1 goal and added 3 assist with one on the game-winning goal for the second consecutive game.
The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies' left-winger, Francis Perron is the third star of the week. The 19 year old scored 4 goals, added 2 assists and maintained a +6 rating in the 3 games he played on the road this week. He opened his season on Thursday in Quebec with 1 goal and 1 assist in a 6-5 win over the Remparts. He set-up Jean-Christophe Beaudin for the game-winning goal in overtime. Against the undefeated Shawinigan Cataractes on Sunday, the Huskies came out strong with a 6-1 victory. Perron was named the first star, scoring 2 goals on 12 shots.
