QMJHL Players of the Week - Gregoire, Jevpalovs and Pickard

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, January 26, 2015 - Jérémy Grégoire, Nikita Jevpalovs and Reilly Pickard were named today, the three stars of the week for January 19 to 25, 2015.
The first star of the week is awarded to Baie-Comeau Drakkar's' forward, Jeremy Gregoire. In 2 games, he scored three goals, added 5 assists and maintained a +3 rating. On Saturday, in the first of two games against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, he was named the second star of the game with 3 points in a 6-1 win. In the second game on Sunday, he got his first 5 point game and his fourth hat trick in the QMJHL while his team went on to win the game 6-3. Since returning from injury, he has collected a total of 19 points in 13 games.

The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada's forward, Nikita Jevpalovs is the second star of the week. He scored 5 goals, assisted on 3 and had a +7 rating in 3 games. He started his week with a 4 point performance against the Rimouski Oceanic on Friday. This was his 3rd four point game of the season. On Saturday, against the Victoriaville Tigres, he scored a goal and got an assist on the game trying goal in the 58th minute. The Armada went on the win the game 4-3 in overtime. The Sherbrooke Phoenix were in town on Sunday. He scored his 37th and 38 goals of the season in a 4-3 overtime loss. He is now 6 points behind the league leader Conor Garland who has 77 points.
The Acadie-Bathurst Titan's goaltender, Reilly Pickard is the third star of the week. He had a record of one win and one lose, kept a goals against average of 1.52 and save percentage of .957. He stopped 67 of the 70 shots he faced. On Friday, the Titan faced the Charlottetown Islanders. Pickard was named the second star of the game in a 2-1 defeat. Saturday, against the same rivals he stopped 42 of the 43 shots he faced for a 5-1 victory. He was once again named the second star of the game. Since the trade that brought him to Acadie-Bathurst from Baie-Comeau, he has a goals against average of 2.52 and a save percentage of .926 in 6 games.
