QMJHL Players of the Week - Bouchard, Dubois and Carcone

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, November 23, 2015 - Keven Bouchard, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Michael Carcone were named today the three stars of the week for November 16 to 22, 2015.
Keven Bouchard, Baie-Comeau Drakkar goaltender, is the first star of the week. He won both games he started at home with a 1.00 goals against average, stopped 64 of 66 shots for a .971 save percentage and recorded his first shutout of the season. His shutout came on Saturday when his team beat the Halifax Mooseheads 4-0. He was named the first star while stopping a career high 41 shots.

Cape Breton Screaming Eagles forward, Pierre-Luc Dubois is the second star. The 2016 NHL draft eligible player scored a goal, added 7 assists and maintained a +5 rating. The Screaming Eagles were hosts to the Charlottetown Islanders for 2 games this weekend and Dubois helped his team win both of them. He participated in 8 of his team's 10 goals while getting a career high 4 assists on Saturday's 4-2 victory. He now has 38 points in 27 games this season.
The third star of the week is awarded to the Drummondville Voltigeurs' forward, Michael Carcone. In 2 games this week, he scored 2 goals and added 4 assists. Friday, in a 5-4 overtime win against the Sherbrooke Phoenix, he participated in all of his team's goals. He assisted on the two goals to tie the game in the last 2 minutes of play and then set up the game winning goal 35 seconds into overtime. He's 2 points behind the League leader (45) and tied for most goals with 23.
