QMJHL Players of the Week - Billia, Garland and Lalonde

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, November 16, 2015 - Julio Billia, Conor Garland and Bradley Lalonde were named today the three stars of the week for November 9 to 15, 2015.
Julio Billia, goaltender for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, is the first star of the week. He won both games he started, kept a 1.00 goals against average and stopped 54 of 56 shots for a .964 save percentage. Billia was named the second star of the game on Friday when the Saguenéens beat the Quebec Remparts 5-1. The next day against the Drummondville Voltigeurs, his team won again 5-1 but this time, Billia was named the first star. His .922 save percentage is the best in the League while his 2.71 goals against average is good enough for third.

Moncton Wildcats forward, Conor Garland is the second star. He didn't score any goals, but racked up 7 assists in three games. His best game was on Friday, when the Wildcats faced off against the Halifax Mooseheads. He recorded 4 assists to help the Wildcats erase a 3 goals deficit to win the game 5-4 in overtime. He now has a 19 points game streak and is the League leader in scoring with 43 points.
The third star of the week is awarded to the Victoriaville Tigres defenseman, Bradley Lalonde. In 2 road games, he scored a goal, added 3 assists and had a +4 rating. He wasn't on the ice for any of the opponent's goal. Friday, in a 6-3 win over the Drummondville Voltigeurs, he scored a goal, added an assist and he was named the second star of the game. He added 2 more assists in a 6-1 victory over the Gatineau Olympiques.
