QMJHL Players of the Week - Billia, Beauvillier and Richard

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, October 19, 2015 - Julio Billia, Anthony Beauvillier and Anthony Richard were named today the three stars of the week of October 12 to 18, 2015.
The first star of the week is awarded to the Chicoutimi Saguenéens' goaltender, Julio Billia. He started 2 games this week, won both, kept a goals against average of 1.00 and a save percentage of 0.973. He recorded his first shutout of the season on Friday in a 5-0 win over the Charlottetown Islanders. He faced 39 shots and was named the first star of the game. Sunday, he helped his team win their 4th consecutive game with a 3-2 victory over the Rimouski Océanic. Julio is the goaltender who has faced the most shots (401) in the QMJHL this season and is fifth in save percentage (.910).

Shawinigan Cataractes forward, Anthony Beauvillier is the second star of the week. He scored one goal, added 5 assists and won 63% of his faceoffs in the two games he played. Against the Sherbrooke Phoenix on Sunday, he helped his team erase a 3-goal deficit to finally win in a shootout 5-4. He set up all 4 goals in regulation time.
Anthony Richard of the Val-d'Or Foreurs is the third star of the week. In 3 games, he scored 3 goals, 2 of them game winners and added 3 assists. He was named the first star in Wednesday's game in a 5-2 win over the Quebec Remparts. He scored the game winner and added an assist. Sunday in Blainville-Boisbriand, he scored his 10th of the season and was the game winner in a 3-1 win over the Armada. This was the fifth consecutive game with a goal and 11th with at least a point.
