QMJHL Players of the Week - Archambault, Ehlers and Zykov

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday February 17th, 2014 - Olivier Archambault, Nikolaj Ehlers and Valentin Zykov were named today the TELUS three stars of the week for February 10 to February 16, 2014.

The first star of the week is awarded to Olivier Archambault of the Quebec Remparts. In 2 road games, Archambault collected 6 points, with 3 goals and maintained a +/- of +4. Sunday against the Shawinigan Cataractes, he was named the third star of the game with a performance of 2 goals and 2 assists in a 6-1 win. Archambault now has 39 points in 31 games this season.

Nikolaj Ehlers, the Halifax Mooseheads' forward, is the second star of the week. In 3 games this week, he scored 3 goals, added 3 assists and maintained a +/- of +7. Thursday against the Gatineau Olympiques, Ehlers played his best game of the week with 3 points in a 5-1 win. He was named the first star of the game. The Baie-Comeau Drakkar forward, Valentin Zykov is the third star. In two games, Zykov got 6 points. Sunday against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, Zykov scored his 19th goal of the season and collected three assists in a 7-3 victory. Zykov now has 55 points in 42 games this season.
