QMJHL Players of the Month - Ehlers, Garland and Montembeault

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday December 2nd, 2014 - Nikolaj Ehlers, Conor Garland and Samuel Montembeault were named today the three stars for the month of November.
The first star for the month of November is Halifax Mooseheads' forward, Nikolaj Ehlers. During his team's 12 games, Ehlers collected at least a point in each one, ending the month with a total of 34 points. He scored 12 goals, added 22 assists and maintained an incredible +15 rating. He played 2 games where he improved his own record, the first was a game with 5 assists and the second was a whopping 6 point game of which 4 were goals. He is now 4th in the League with 43 points.

Conor Garland, the Moncton Wildcats' forward, is the second star of the month. He played 4 games with 4 points or more including a personal record with a 6 point game. He completed the month with 31 points in 11 games. He is now one point behind the league leader Alexis Loiseau, with 51 points.
The third star of the month is awarded to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada's goaltender, Samuel Montembeault. In the 8 of the games he started, he got 5 wins, a goals against average of 1.83 and a save percentage of .920. He allowed 2 goals or fewer in 6 games and was named the first star of the game twice. He currently has the second best goals against average (2.48) just after Brandon Whitney of the Gatineau Olympiques (2.40).
