A smooth-skating defenseman with impressive playmaking skills... Sees the ice
well and possesses an accurate shot... Needs to gain strength and aggressiveness,
as he is getting out manned physically in North America... No real mean streak...
Needs some work on clearing the zone and making the safe play as opposed to the
fancy one... Very good positioning and above-average hockey sense... very effective
on the power play, because of good puck-moving abilities... Still a raw project
however and will require patience, but looks to be worth it...

Stay-at-home type prefers to play a safe, controlled style... Has good consistency
and poise, underscored by a +/-12 thus far with Sarnia... Offensively, looks
better than given credit - accurate passer, and anticipates the play very well...
Very physically involved and has a mean streak... Takes the game seriously and
works hard... Needs to showcase his puck skills more, but is still adjusting
to the North American ice... Will need to shoot more from the point, as he has
a good, accurate slap shot... Can be a workhorse and will log big minutes this
season...
