Pickard, Ricci and Fitzpatrick named the three stars of the week

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, February 29th, 2016 – Reilly Pickard, Fabrizio Ricci and Evan Fitzpatrick were named today the three stars of the week for February 22 to 28, 2016.

Acadie-Bathurst Titan goaltender, Reilly Pickard is the first star of the week. He started in 3 road games where he kept a record of 1-1-1 while maintaining a goals against average of 1.30 and a save percentage of 0.958. He won his 23rd game this season in Chicoutimi as the Titan beat the Saguenéens 3-1. The 2016 NHL draft eligible player has a goals against average of 3.13 and a save percentage of 0.900 for the season.

Fabrizio Ricci of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar is the second star. He scored one goal, added 5 assists and maintained a +4 rating in 4 games this week. Tuesday against he League leading Huskies, he recorded 2 assists in a 5-4 shootout loss. Against the Drummondville Voltigeurs on Saturday, the 20 year-old veteran assisted on 3 of his team’s goals for a 5-3 victory. He now has 36 points in 57 games played this season.

Sherbrooke Phoenix’ goaltender, Evan Fitzpatrick is the third star of the week. He won both games he started, maintained a goals against average of 1.50 and a save percentage of 0.955. He made 32 saves on Friday to lead his team to a 4-2 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders. He also recorded an assist on the game-winning goal. He is also available for the 2016 NHL draft.
