A well-rounded two-way player ... has quality skating skills with good overall speed and agility ... a solid forechecker who finishes his checks while not being overly physical ... a nice package of offensive skills that should expand with experience and confidence ... smooth stickhandler with decent moves around the goal ... excellent passer, quarterbacks powerplay at times as well as being used up front in on others ... makes nice plays in around the goal and is in good offensive position most of the time ... defensively, back checks well ... isn't in a rush to get out of his zone, covers his man fairly well ... is in a trap system and plays it effectively ... frequently used on the penalty kill ... plays his defensive role nicely while having a fair set of offensive skills ... Overall looks to have a decent career ahead of him as a 2nd or 3rd line centre.
