NEPSIHA: 2007 New England Prep Preview Part II

The Prep season is starting soon and Avon is looking to defend their Division 1 title. In the Keller (I.S.L.) League, Belmont Hill will be looking to return to the championship game, but will face some tough competition in the East with Lawrence Academy and Nobles returning with a solid group of players. St. Paul's could be the surprise team of the year with a solid group of returnees. McKeen's correspondent Vincent Montalbano offers this preview with additional coaches' comments.

COACHES COMMENTS
"Very deep in the net with All-League returnee Chris Venti, while both Joe Papa and Anthony Moccia are capable of shouldering the load as well. Looking to add more offensive punch with our top-four scorers returning from a year ago and the additions of Jackie Bartlett and Alex Quinn – both who have the ability to put up points and find the back of the net. Defensively, we will be relying on our leader Scott MacPhee to shoulder the load for a mix of returnee's and newcomers on defense."
