McKeens Q A with Patrick OSullivan

McKeens: When and where did you start playing hockey?
O'Sullivan: I started playing hockey when i was 5 years old in north

carolina. There wasnt much there but it was a start and i loved it right from the beginning.
McKeens: Who directed your first hockey steps?
O'Sullivan: My mom directed my first steps in hockey and i thank her to this day for all she has done. Without her I would not be where I am today.
McKeens: Do you have a favorite player?
O'Sullivan: I actually have two favorite players, Mike Modano and Mike Momrie, two guys that I respect very much and I would love to one day play against them.
McKeens: Do you have a favorite NHL team?
O'Sullivan: My favorite NHL team is the Carolina Hurricanes.
McKeens: What is your biggest success in hockey so far?
O'Sullivan: Winning the gold medal the last two years at the world championships, both U-17 and U-18 for the United States.
McKeens: How would you describe yourself as a player?
O'Sullivan: I would descibe my self as a offense player who can score goals and also set them up. I can kill penalties and play a defensive roll if needed as well.
McKeens: What do you do in your free time?
O'Sullivan: Hang out with the boys here in Mississauga, golf and listen to music.
McKeens: What is your hockey dream?
O'Sullivan: My hockey dream is to play in the NHL.
McKeens: Do you have a nickname ?
O'Sullivan: Ya the guys call me sully or showtime.
McKeens: Do you have a person who influenced you the most?
O'Sullivan: I would definitly say my coach at the USA program Mike Eaves had the biggest influence on my career. He opened my eyes to how game is really played and what you have to do to play at the next level.
McKeens: What is your goal for the upcoming season?
O'Sullivan: My goal for the season is to go far in the playoffs with Mississauga and have a great year.
