McKeens Q A with Jonas Johansson

An exclusive interview with Jonas Johansson of the Kamloops Blazers. He was the 28th overall pick of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
McKeens: When and where did you start playing hockey?

A. Johansson: When I was 4 years old, in HV71, Sweden.
McKeens: Is there any particular person who has been influential in your
development?
A. Johansson: My family.
McKeens: Are there any players in the NHL you watch and admire?
A. Johansson: Not really, but I like Forsberg and Sundin.
McKeens: What do you love most about playing hockey?
A. Johansson: Don't really know, I just love it.
McKeens: What is your biggest success in hockey so far?
A. Johansson: The draft this year (2002) in Toronto.
McKeens: How would you describe your game to someone who has never seen you
play?
A. Johansson: Good skater, good shot, good vision & like to score.
McKeens: What do you think is the strongest part of your game?
A. Johansson: In the offensive zone and to score and make assists.
McKeens: Do you have any pre-game superstitions?
A. Johansson: I always start with my left side (Skates, elbow, knee).
McKeens: Do you play any other sport besides hockey?
A. Johansson: Golf (HCP 9).
McKeens: What is your goal for the upcoming season?
A. Johansson: Do my best and always work hard, I hope the team do good and so do I.
