Matt Stajan - OHL Player of the Week

The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Belleville Bulls centre Matt Stajan is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday March 9 after leading all OHL scorers with three goals and six assists for nine points in four games.
Stajan assisted on two goals to start the week with a 3-1 win over the Oshawa Generals on March 5. He added a goal and three assists in a 4-2 win over the Sudbury Wolves on March 8 and concluded the week with a pair of goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in a 6-3 win over the Kingston Frontenacs on March 9.

Stajan, a 19-year-old Mississauga native, leads the Bulls with 34 goals and 56 assists for 90 points in 54 games. The second round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2002 won a silver medal with Canada at the World Junior Championships in Halifax, Nova Scotia in January.
