Jordan Subban added to 2013 Top Prospects Game

The Canadian Hockey League has announced that Jordan Subban, Belleville Bulls' blueliner, has been chosen to replace the injured Ryan Pulock for the 2013 Top Prospects game on Wednesday, January 16th.
The Brandon Wheat Kings announced that Pulock will miss the next two weeks due to a chipped bone in his wrist suffered in a game versus the Calgary Hitmen. Like Pulock, Jordan Subban will play on Team Cherry.

This a tremendous opportunity for Subban to improve his draft stock and prove that his lack of height doesn't mean he can't compete with the elite of the elite! Hockey Draft 411 does not currently rank him in our top 60, but things can change quickly.
For Pulock, although it is a minor injury, it comes at a terrible time. It won't mean that he will drop out of first round, but this is one of those showcase games that might have propelled him in to the top 10 if things went well. Still a top 20 in our books, but timing is everything!
Re: CHL "A 17-year-old from Rexdale, ON, Subban is playing in his second OHL season after being chosen by the Bulls fifth overall in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. Ranked 17th among OHL skaters by NHL Central Scouting in their Preliminary Draft Rankings in the Fall, he leads the Bulls' defence corps with 27 points including seven goals and 20 assists in 39 games played this season."
