(AP Photo of Troy Riddle) A disappointing continuation of the Friday blahs saw #4 Minnesota lose 6-5 to #6 Colorado College. The Gophers, leading 4-3 at the start of the 3rd period saw the Tigers score 3 straight goals. CC had to defend against a wild gopher rally in the last few minutes while killing off a power play to defend the lead and the win.
Saturdays rematch, however was a different story. Going into the third period tied 3-3 the Golden Gophers got the next 4 goals: Troy Riddle at 17 seconds in, Jordan Leopold 1:13 later, Grant Potunly and Erik Wendell, for a 7-3 win. And an improvement to 22-7-4 overall, 14-7-3 WCHA.

With a goal and 2 assistsTroy Riddle, the sophomore from Minneapolis, brought his 2 game total to 7 points and was named Co-offensive player of the week in the WCHA
Adam Hauser stopped 25 of 28 shots to get his 13th win of the season, and at the same tied Robb Stauber and the school record 72 career wins.
Minnesota will host Wisconsin next weekend at Mariucci
