"It's an unbelievable feeling," Roy said after receiving the award. "There are 24 guys in the dressing room with one goal all year - to win the Memorial Cup."
Nick Boynton was the last OHL player to win the award when he led the Ottawa 67's to the Memorial Cup championship on home ice in 1999.
