HC Olomouc Juniors
Ondrej Sula (2006), RW

Scouting: a diminutive right winger .. solid skating skills .. keeps his feet moving and shows solid bursts of speed .. sharp agility .. okay top-end speed .. average balance, tends to get pushed around by bigger players .. a swift puckhandler who likes to make numerous dekes to the opposing players .. more of a passer than a shooter .. needs to be more calm once in the offensive zone and avoid precipitous and inaccurate passes .. should fire the pucks more often .. uses primarily the wrist or snap shot over the slap shot .. a quick release on his wrist shot which can surprise .. sub-par defensive play .. intensity and interest drops in his own end .. marks his man slowly .. doesn't thrive in heavy traffic .. isn't the same force when opponents start to play his body .. a finesse winger who doesn't finish his checks .. a late '87 born player .. possesses some flashy skills, but the sum of the parts looks to be too soft for the NHL.
Lukas Lunak (2007), RW
Scouting: a solid skater .. above-average acceleration and footspeed .. quick bursts of speed .. makes sharp turns on a dime .. needs to upgrade on balance as he got knocked off his feet when battling a bigger opponent .. possesses a low center of gravity .. an offensive sparkplug .. keeps his feet moving and plays an energy style .. an one-dimensional waterbug .. tries to gain possession of the puck with his tight forechecking often but usually can't find the right moment .. a tricky puckhandler who can dangle well in tight spaces .. can find the open man with an accurate pass .. unleashes a quick accurate wrist shot .. could use his slap shot to a larger extent .. should be more effective in the offensive zone given his role of the offensive winger .. his raids often end in the corners instead of driving the net hard .. defensive play remains an issue .. marks his man slowly and needs to upgrade on defensive positioning .. should block the passing lanes more conscientiously .. at this point not worth selecting in the draft.
Daniel Bartek (2007), LW
Scouting: a decent skater with adequate bursts of speed and quickness .. still could use further upgrading of his stride .. adequate agility .. decent lower-body strength and balance .. a solid stickhandler with an acceptable dealing with difficult passes .. distributes passes from both sides of the stick .. a solid passer who can find the open man .. should further improve on his in-close finishing skills .. possesses only a limited variety of shots .. prefers the wrist or snap shot .. the slap shot needs to be more accurate and harder .. shows a commitment to the defensive play, but needs to work on this asset, especially on his positioning in the defensive zone .. battles for the pucks along the boards and is willing to play in traffic .. tends to take an odd shift off in his determination .. positions himself in the slot regularly .. doesn't finish the checks very often despite decent size tools .. a late '88 born forward .. doesn't show significant pro potential.
David Adamec (Undrafted), G
Scouting: a smallish goalie with solid reflexes and anticipation of plays .. decent quickness .. shows good athleticism and dexterity .. decent footspeed .. possesses an adequate glove hand and doesn't let in many goals on his glove side .. doesn't make risky passes and focuses on stopping the puck and passing it to the nearby teammate .. tends to let the odd soft goal in through his five-hole .. displays some trouble with orientating in heavy traffic in front of him .. decent at playing his angles and doesn't seem to panic under pressure .. solid focus during games .. an average stickhandler .. should play the puck in a more smooth way .. a quiet, modest guy who is a very coachable person .. could show more personality and confidence to succeed .. not worth NHL consideration.
Jakub Curik (undrafted), C
Scouting: an above-average skater .. uses a smooth stride .. solid footspeed .. decent top-end speed .. takes advantage of his strong agility to dance around the opposing defensemen to sneak into scoring chances .. average lower-body strength and balance .. solid stickhandling skills .. uses a short stick to make quick puck moves .. corrals difficult passes smoothly .. more of an one-dimensional player who focuses on generating offense rather than backchecking .. performs along the boards on occasions, but gets regularly outpowered by bigger opponents .. solid smooth in-close finishing skills .. effective when paired with a playmaking winger who passes him the pucks often .. should upgrade on the hardness of his variety of shots .. above-average accuracy of the quick wrist and snap shot .. needs to progress in his defensive awareness and return back more often .. marks his man slowly .. his interest when playing off the puck tends to drop .. can make a living on European lower levels well, but isn't a NHL prospect.
