Cole Cassels added to 2013 Top Prospects Game

The CHL has announced that Oshawa General's center Cole Cassels, has been selected to replace the injured William Carrier for the 2013 Top Prospects game on Wednesday, January 16th.
The Cape Breton Eagles forward is out with a "lower body" injury.

It is too bad that Cassel's opportunity has to come at the expense of Carrier's injury. However, those are the breaks and this is a chance for the Oshawa forward to prove he should have been selected from day one.
For Carrier, he remains on the outside of the first round in our rankings. However, this is only a minor setback.
Re: CHL "A 17-year-old from Columbus, Ohio, Cassels is playing in his second OHL season after being chosen 16th overall in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. Ranked 13th among OHL skaters by NHL Central Scouting in their Preliminary Draft Rankings in the Fall, he has 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points in 39 games so far this season."
