CHL Players of the Week

The Ontario Hockey League announced today that Sudbury Wolves defenceman Marc StaalClick Quebec Remparts forward Angelo Esposito and Lewiston MAINEiacs defenseman Brandon Roach were named offensive and defensive players of the week for the period extending from September 26th to October 2nd. Staal, 18, drafted by the Wolves 2nd overall in the 2003 OHL Priority Selection recorded two goals and five assists in a pair of wins over Eastern Conference rivals.

The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Dustin BoydClick Here to view this Link. of the Moose Jaw Warriors. Boyd earned player of the week honours by recording five goals and nine points in four games including two power-play goals and two game-winning goals during the week of September 23rd to October 3rd. Boyd helped lead the Warriors to a perfect 4-0 record to start the 2005-06 WHL season.
