CHL Players of the Month

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today its offensive, rookie and defensive players for the month of December 2004.

After a vote taken by the 16 QMJHL coaches, Maxime Boisclair, of the Chicoutimi Sagueneens, earned the title of Offensive Player of the Month for the period starting on December 1st and ending on December 31st. Also, the Drummondville Voltigeurs' player Derick Brassard was named Rookie of the Month, while goalie Martin Houle, of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, won the Defensive Player of the Month award.
