CHL Player of the Week - Jonathan Boutin

Toronto - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that PEI Rocket goaltender Jonathan Boutin is the CHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday October 3 after posting a 3-0-0 record, .969 save percentage and 1.00 goals against average in three games.
Boutin, a 19-year-old from Canton de Shefford, Quebec, opened the week with a 27-save performance to back the Rocket to a 3-1 win over the Baie Comeau Drakkar on September 27. He followed up with 31 saves in a 2-1 win over Baie Comeau on October 1 and finished the week with 36 saves in a 7-1 win over the Halifax Mooseheads on October 3.

Boutin leads all QMJHL goaltenders with a 1.12 goals against average in eight games. He improved his season record to 6-0-1 with a .958 save percentage.
