Cam Paddock - WHL Player of the Week

Calgary - The Western Hockey League Player of the Week is forward Cam Paddock of the Kelowna Rockets. Paddock earned player of the week honours by recording three goals and five points, including a power-play goal, a game-winning goal and the championship-winning goal. The Rockets won the best-of-seven series 4-2 over the Red Deer Rebels to capture the WHL Championship Trophy for the first time in franchise history.
On Monday, May 5th, Paddock recorded two assists, in a 6-2 road loss in Game 3.

On Thursday, May 8th, Paddock scored a goal in a 5-2 home win in Game 5 of the Championship series.
On Saturday, May 10th, Paddock scored both goals including the Championship winning goal in a 2-0 road win in Game 6 of the Championship series.
Paddock, from North Vancouver, British Columbia was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
