Clinton Atkinson (2009), D, Salmon Arm

Sports fairly good mobility and good transition speed .. has a reasonably heavy wrist shot .. looks a tad nervous at the point .. closes the gap well on the one-on-one .. has the speed to join the rush, but seems to be holding back so as to not get caught .. coaching staff are bringing him along slowly .. picks up the open man .. obviously needs to add some beef to his 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame, however is still willing to get physically involved .. has the ability to deliver tape-to-tape passes under pressure .. can get physically over matched .. uses his stick well to create turnovers. Derek Lee (2008), C, Salmon Arm

Is committed to Wisconsin for the 2009-10 season .. Displays good mobility and appears to be quite light on his feet .. wears an A for the Silverbacks .. puts in a decent effort on the backcheck .. needs to show more determination in driving to the net .. doesn't show enough desire to get physically involved, especially involved and does a bit too much skating around in the Salmon Arm zone without getting a heck of a lot accomplished .. sports offensive imagination with the puck, yet once again rarely appears interested in paying the price to make the play .. rarely puts much pressure on the pointman .. lacks the strength to fight through traffic .. played the point on the powerplay .. sees the ice well and like most smaller players is most dangerous when given time and space. Colin Lidster (2008), RW, Salmon Arm

Is committed to attend Quinnipiac for the 2009-10 season .. wasn't selected last season in his first season of eligibility for the NHL Entry Draft .. boasts an impressive looking 6-foot-4, 220-pound frame and often looks like a man amongst boys .. goes to the front of the net .. displays pretty decent puck pursuit, although can be guilty of standing around a bit especially late in a shift .. uses his body to block lanes .. lacks breakaway speed .. must use his ample size better as he rarely took the body or finished his checks .. rarely took the body .. doesn't get much if any time on special.
