BCHL: Kennedy Powering Forward

Braden Birch (2008), D, Nanaimo
Closes the gaps well on the puckcarrier .. boasts a hard slap shot, although needs to make sure he finds a decent shooting lane to get it through traffic .. not blessed with elite overall speed, yet still isn't afraid to carry the puck up the ice .. plays on both special teams .. committed to Cornell starting next season. (4gp, 0-1-1)

Brad McConnell (2008), RW, Nanaimo
Showed nice chemistry alongside Russell Goodman and Brodie Zuk .. supports the puckcarrier well .. comes back quickly to help out in the Clippers' defensive zone .. moves the puck crisply and on the tape .. demonstrates a nose for the net .. very good jump out of the blocks .. works hard without the puck .. needs to add some strength, especially on the puck .. as mentioned is far from imposing physically, but will take the body when given the opportunity .. showcases nice hands in close .. plays on the powerplay. (6gp, 5-3-8)
Eric Filiou (2008), C, Nanaimo
Goes to the net and will park himself in front, but isn't strong enough to dominate in close and really isn't blessed with enough elite skills in any particular area to be considered a pro prospect .. plays on the powerplay. (6gp, 4-4-8)
Randy McNaught (2008), RW, Nanaimo
Still prone to getting a bit lazy and will take needless penalties, especially when he stops moving his feet .. doesn't possess blazing speed and his speed out of the gates needs improvement .. at his best when he is using his considerable size and hitting with authority .. displays a willingness to play in traffic .. plays on the PP and even will see some time late on the PK. (6gp, 0-1-1)
Warren Muir (2008), F, Nanaimo
Plays on both special teams .. needs to take a better line on the forecheck so the puckcarrier doesn't have as much room to beat him so easily to the outside .. will drop down to block a shot. (6gp, 3-3-6)
Todd Kennedy (2008), F, Nanaimo
Won't hesitate to go to the net without the puck .. blessed with nice physicality to his game, can be quite effective throwing his weight around .. displays a bit of a mean streak .. not the prettiest skater, however can fly pretty well when he's at full speed .. hard to get out of the scoring area when he's set .. plays on the powerplay .. boast the potential to be an effective power forward if he puts in the effort each game. (6gp, 1-1-2)
Tyler Pistone (2008), C, Nanaimo
Moves his feet well and does a nice job closing down passing and shooting lanes while killing penalties .. will drop down in front of a shot .. looks for the holes and will even go to the net .. displays some offensive imagination .. dishes the puck well to his teammates. (6gp, 0-0-0)
