BCHL: Dalpe Kroshus

Zac Dalpe (2008), C, Penticton
Speedy pivot is committed to Ohio State for the the 2008-09 season .. boasts good size, yet can still add some beef to his 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame .. explodes out of the gates .. centered the number one line of Brett Hextall and Austin Smith .. moves the puck rapidly when in traffic .. dynamic skater from the blueline in .. displays confidence which rubs off on his teammates .. gets down the ice really quickly .. will use his teammates, but if there is any kind of opportunity he won't hesitate to shoot .. possesses quick hands and a good technique in the faceoff circle .. doesn't shy away from digging for the puck in the dirty areas .. overall is a nice skater, although would still benefit from gaining some more power to his stride .. reads the play very well as he always seems to end up where the puck is and at the right time .. is a good finisher, in fact might be better suited to playing on the wing at the next level .. plays a ton in every situation and on both special teams. Is committed to Harvard for the following season .. has a 6-foot-1, 195-pound frame .. played on a line with Trevor Nill and centered by Cory Schneider .. will try and use his speed to pressure the pointman .. a bit opportunistic .. effectively takes the body .. will take a hit to make a play .. turns well with the puck .. boasts pretty good vision .. supports the puck well .. sees time on the powerplay .. passed over in the draft last season, but has been garnering a tad more interest this season with the Vees.
