Smallish forward .. communicates well with his linemates .. very agile .. would rather tie a player up than drive him in to the boards .. doesn’t appear to have elite top end speed, although he is still an above average skater .. didn’t see much if any time on the penalty kill .. conscientious defensively and comes back deep in his own end .. reasonably strong on his skates .. displayed an effective shot and a quick release while on the powerplay .. doesn’t have the strength to fend off checkers .. makes crisp passes on the tape as well as good at taking a pass .. has good vision and finds the holes.
Andrew Braithwaite Quesnel (BCHL), G:
Steers pucks in to the corners using his blocker .. good reflexes, especially his feet .. made a tremendous save by kicking out his leg as the player tried to make him move to the far post and then slide it in on the short side .. holds on to the puck and rarely lets out a bad rebound .. looked composed on a breakaway and gave the player nothing to shoot at .. positionally sound .. moved the puck up to his defense .. very agile and when moving from side to side stays square to the shooter and exposes few holes .. when he goes down, he is able to recover quickly and get right back on his feet.
