Andersson added to 2015 CHL Top Prospects Game

Toronto, ON - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that defenceman Rasmus Andersson of the Barrie Colts will compete for Team Cherry at the BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game hosted by the OHL's Niagara IceDogs on Thursday January 22, 2015.
Andersson is an 18-year-old from Malmo, Sweden, currently playing in his first OHL season with the Colts. Selected 37th overall in the 2014 CHL Import Draft, at 6'0'' 200lb, Andersson is currently fifth in OHL scoring among defencemen with 38 points in 39 games played. He becomes the second member of the Colts named to this year's roster joining goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood who will be competing with Team Orr.

Andersson replaces defenceman Jakub Zboril of the Saint John Sea Dogs who is unable to compete due to injury.
The BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game features 40 of the CHL's top draft eligible players for the 2015 NHL Draft. This annual showcase features the next wave of NHL talent from the Ontario Hockey League, Western Hockey League, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
