The 2011 World Junior A Challenge was recently held in Langley, BC and featured six teams. Canada East, Canada West, Czech Republic, Russia, Sweden and USA. Over the next number of Sundays we will be looking back at some of the prospects that caught our eyes. including Canada East's Devin Shore.

Shore, whose club team is Whitby of the OJHL, was rightfully selected as the 2011 World Junior A Challenge MVP. He also finished tied for the tournament lead in scoring with six points.

The rest of the all-star team included:

Forwards: Alex Kerfoot (Canada West), Devin Shore (Canada East) and Mario Lucia (USA).

Defencemen: Ludwig Bystrom (Sweden) and Kevin Lough (Canada East)

Goaltender: Sean Maguire (Canada West)
