2011 Draft Watch: Colin Smith

Smallish pivot (listed at 5-foot-10, 165-pounds) centers the line of Dylan Willick and JC Lipon .. moves the puck easily

.. very agile and light on his feet, but needs to get a bit better burst out of his first few steps .. will finish his checks, although not a bruiser given his slender frame .. closes the gap quickly in the offensive zone .. will fight and likely not well to protect a teammate, but still deserves credit for being a good teammate .. uses his stick well to close passing and shooting lanes .. gets some time on the penalty kill.
